Spring Fling Open Studios June 5th-7th 2022

Published April 7, 2022

I am so looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming people back for Spring Fling 2022. For those who don’t know, Spring Fling is Dumfries & Galloway’s annual open studios event where you can visit artists in their own studios and get an insight into their working processes, as well as buy work directly from the artists.

This time it is taking place over the Platinum Jubilee weekend, Thursday 2nd June – Sunday 5th June, from 10.30am to 8pm each day.  There are three studios to visit here at the Mull of Galloway – Linda Irving, Jane Fraser and myself, so it makes a great day out.

So here we are two months away and already I’m planning what’s going to go where, what signage we’ll need, whether to get new greeting cards printed and of course I’m busy creating new work and finishing off paintings.

If you’re in the area that weekend, it would be fantastic to see you.  You can find out more about all the studios taking part on the Spring Fling website.

Here’s a taster of some of the things I’m working on at the moment – yellow seems to be my go-to colour right now.
