Autumn on the Loch

Autumn on the Loch

They reckon there are over 31,000 lochs in Scotland and we are blessed with some rather fine ones in our local area, particularly at Castle Kennedy gardens.  I’m also very fortunate to have the most beautiful lake view every time I visit my Mum in Grasmere in the Lake District.  This painting is my homage to those  calm and still mornings where there’s hardly a breath of wind and the glorious colours of Autumn trees are reflected in all their glory in still, deep waters.

Acrylic, on paper.

400mm x 300mm

Framed in a deep box frame with white mount, framed size: 54cm x 44cm.
