Silk Scarves
My love of colour extends into dyeing and for the last few years I have been using shibori techniques of folding, pleating and clamping to create a range of silk scarves. I have also ventured into the world of eco printing, a technique that uses leaves, bark and other plant materials to impart colour and imprints onto the silk. When used in conjunction with modern colourful dyes, the results can be surprising and beautiful.
