The Australian bushfires of 2019-20 created headlines around the world and filled newsfeeds with awful stories of towns, lives and wildlife lost. Painting in the depths of our winter, the hot colours began to take on the shape of the land I was hearing so much about, and feeling such compassion for. The painting will be part of an exhibition of new work this Spring and I will have smaller prints available as well.
A subtle re-brand or a change of mindset?
The keen-eyed amongst you may have noticed a subtle branding change in my header. Nothing too earth shattering, but instead of Glenda Waterworth Fine Art, you will notice my strapline now says “Fine Art & Dye Studio.”
